Any motor vehicle is only as strong as its weakest part and nowhere is that truer than on cars and trucks that are used for racing. Put a lot of horsepower under the hood and run hard at the track without upgrading the transmission and driveline and you’re sure to end up with busted parts and a DNF. Original equipment transmissions, clutches, torque converters, differentials, driveshafts, axles and other factory transmission and drivetrain parts are fine for commuting with a stock engine, but they’re not up to the job for racing, especially behind a breathed on mill. Each racing transmission component plays a part in turning engine power into usable traction at all vehicle speeds, and each must be beefed up to handle the additional stress from extreme horsepower. Driveshafts and U-Joints, axle shafts and CV-Joints have a hard enough job transferring power from the transmission/transaxle to wheels and drive axles that are constantly in motion. Add a lot of horsepower to the mix or steeper driveshaft angles and greater suspension articulation commonly found on lifted off-roaders and the task becomes a lot tougher. We offer driveshafts that are built with thicker wall tubing to handle the load and some off-road applications feature double-cardan style CV-Joints for added strength and reduced vibration at extreme operating angles. We also have heavy-duty, greasable U-joints, chromoly steel axle shafts for all popular axle housings, and high-strength CV-joints with chromoly cages.

Racing transfer cases and differentials provide the gearing that enables you to keep your engine in the powerband, whether you want rock crawling torque or neck snapping acceleration and high speed. We have transfer case shortening kits to reduce driveshaft angles on lifted vehicles, transfer case gear sets, chains, sprockets, hubs, sliders, shift forks, rebuild kits and more. A different ratio differential ring & pinion set is a great way to get more giddyup off the line but it’s also a necessity to maintain performance on trucks and SUVs when you bolt on a tall set of wheels and tires. And to make sure you get power to both wheels on a drive axle, bolt in a limited slip differential, locking differential, or spool and get traction on any surface. Wheel hubs and bearings are the last link in the chain, where the power gets put to terra firma by the wheel and tire assembly. These parts are often neglected, yet they have the important role of supporting the axle shaft and mounting the wheel, with as little power loss from friction as possible. They’re especially important when you add the weight of large diameter off-road wheels and tires or expose them to massive acceleration loads at the dragstrip and side loads on road race courses. Our wheel hubs are made of the strongest steel and precision machined, with premium wheel bearings that can handle the increased load, and wheel seals to keep the grease where it belongs and dirt and dust out.
