The Ford E-Series is the American automaker's lineup of full-size vans. Ford E-Series vans are frequently used for commercial purposes, but are also sold as passenger vehicles. Ford first introduced vans as part of the roster in the early 1960s with the arrival of the compact Falcon, but it wasn't until 1968 when the E-Series premiered. In 1972, sliding doors became optional, showing off what would later become the template for the modern Econoline van. With an V8 engine and a truck-based chassis, the E-Series parts got another adjustment with the gradual inception of the four-wheel drive. In 1975, the front-end and its accessories were revised, featuring a new grille and square headlights. Throughout the next 15 years, the Ford E-Series assimilated itself as the premier domestic cargo/passenger van in the country.

In 1992, the E-Series parts were redesigned. Engine options ranged from a 4.9L inline six-cylinder, a 7.5L V8, and a 7.3L Power Stroke diesel V8. As for the exterior accessories of the van, an influx of smoother lines which yielded a more aerodynamic image was in place. Motor Trend magazine named the related Chateau Club Wagon the 1992 Truck of the Year in recognition of Ford's effort with the E-Series. Due to the high center of gravity of the 15-passenger vans, a high number of rollover incidents occurred, with only trained drivers being recommended for using the vehicle. The model was updated once again for 1997. A fresh front-end grille, new bumper trim, an improved dash, and dual airbags were added. This was also the time period when the Triton V8 engine became a highlight of the Ford E-Series. Versions of the van were equipped with a 4.2L Essex V6, a 4.6L Triton V8, 5.4L Triton V8, a 6.8L Triton V10, and the same 7.3L diesel. Several other redesigns of the Ford E-Series parts took place throughout the years. In 2003, the grille was revised featuring the Ford logo while the interior was refreshed; in 2004, the 7.3L diesel was replaced by a 6.0L intercooled Power Stroke engine; and in 2006, the 6.8L Triton V10 got boosted to 305 horsepower.

Autodata declared in 2007 that the Ford E-Series was among the top 20 highest-selling vehicles in the America. That same year, Ford introduced the newest version of the E-Series at the New York Auto Show. Improved handling along with a larger grille and headlights were among the most notable changes. Adjustments to the chassis and suspension gave the vehicle an increase in weight to 14,500 pounds. Yet another redesign came in 2009, as the dashboard was remade to incorporate GPS navigation along with a passenger-side glove compartment. A rearview backup camera became an option for the first time, as well. The Ford E-Series van still stands alone at the top of what was a highly-competitive segment.

Good quality product and brighter than stock but not a very far beam length. Seem to be more of a flood light. I can't even tell if my lights are on if there are any other cars around me and had to modify the bezels for them to fit properly so I will most likely have to replace those to go with a different light or back to stock style.
