Ridgeline 3 Truck Rack (83560251) by U.S. RACK®. Finish: Black Powdercoat. Material: Stainless Steel. With Over Cab Extension. The Ridge Rack 3 is a medium-duty over-cab RidgeLine Truck Rack designed to carry longer cargo. Constructed from black powder-coated stainless steel for impeccable strength and durability, this Honda RidgeLine Rack 3 loads up to 500 lbs. This rack complements the design lines of the RidgeLine as it extends over the cab. It has 3 cross bars for full cargo support and a spoiler to reduce wind noise.
The Honda RidgeLine Rack 3 is a medium-duty over-bed RidgeLine truck rack well suited for hauling ladders, boats, canoes, kayaks, lumber, and everything in-between not exceeding 500 lbs. The overall length of the rack is about 86”, with the distance between the front and rear crossbars about 79”, which allows for carrying of rigid loads up to 16 feet long. The width of the rack exceeds 48” so that standard size sheet material such as plywood can be easily carried. This completely drill-free rack is designed to be installed only upon the Honda RidgeLine without the need to remove any RidgeLine parts to accommodate installation. The U.S. Rack Ridge pickup truck rack provides convenient loading of your cargo along with an easy, full access to your truck bed.
The U.S. Rack Ridge Rack 3 is designed to carry loads, which are spread across the width of each crossbar and shared evenly between both crossbars. The Honda RidgeLine rack’s truss design side rails integrate two crossbars over the bed and support the front crossbar over the cab. The RidgeLine rack design includes diagonal bracing that ties base rail into the truss and follows the natural lines of the vehicle. All of Honda RidgeLine truck racks feature a secure and robust clamp rail system engineered to reliably secure the rack itself and your precious cargo rock-solid in place during transport. All of Honda RidgeLine Truck Racks have a unique cleat. It makes tying down cargo to the rack with hooks, straps, and rope a cinch thus preventing it from vibrating or sliding forward and backward or being broken by the wind.
U.S. RACK® began in a garage in Silicon Valley. The company’s founder, Chris Green, removed his welded rack off his pickup and found out that he had a sore back and no place to store the bulky rack. He wanted to create a rack that could clamp onto a truck and be stored easily when not in use. Determined to make sure that his designs were sturdy and safe, Chris initially worked with a university engineering department and later with an independent engineering lab to load-test components and products. In 2000, he set up a small shop to manufacture the first production racks and in 2003 built the larger manufacturing plant in Madera, Ca. U.S. Rack is still a small business but now manufactures over 40 different models of racks to satisfy every need for both work and play. Whether you need a rack to carry your bike, kayak, canoe, or any other cargo, the company has you covered.
