Trend Performance is known as a top-rated brand that holds and celebrates over 30 years of passion and experience in push rod manufacturing. The company was founded in Warren, Michigan, in 1988 by Bob Fox who dared to fix deficiencies in the pushrod design of that time. By the end of the first year of their existence, Trend presented two new products: a 5/16-in push rod for Chevrolet small-block engines and a 3/8in one for Chevrolet big-block engines. Leading-edge Trend Performance pushrods are one-piece units made of 4130 chrome molybdenum and available in different wall thicknesses and lengths. They are performed and centerless ground with a broad range of profiles, namely straight and half, full, and double taper ones. The company makes its pushrods in production quantities to make them affordable to any budget. The crown jewel of Trend Performance is their 7/16in double taper pushrods that are offered in increments of 0.025-inch and from 6.000- to 13.000-inches long, which makes them perfect for use in oval track and drag racing applications.

The Trend Performance product line includes first-rate X2 valves manufactured in cooperation with Xceldyne, a brand that takes the lead in manufacturing valvetrain components for racing cars. The company also provides wrist pins featuring the unique pin geometry and an optional Diamond-Like Carbon coating that is sought-after in high-performance applications with heavy power demands. Among Trend products, there are also precision machined lifter and rod bushings fashioned out of an aluminum/bronze alloy with high lubricity and load-carrying characteristics in mind. However, the company’s inventory does not end with this. They also develop and fabricate valve locks, keepers, shims, lash caps, retainers, and many other valvetrain components.
