Their small compact size makes them easy to group together, and when assembled in this manner, are more luminous than comparable incandescent bulbs, the brighter the light the more visible your vehicle becomes. And they rise to full intensity approximately 200 milliseconds (0.2 seconds) faster than incandescent bulbs, or about 10 times faster. This may not sound like a lot, but it may be all the time that’s needed for the driver behind you to see your brake lights and react to avoid a potential accident.
