Any veteran off-roader knows that it's not a matter of if you'll get stuck, but when. And when you're trying to get yourself or somebody else's rig out of a fix, the difference between a long, tedious recovery and a hassle-free smooth operation often comes down to the quality of your equipment. Smittybilt has roller fairleads that mount directly to all standard winch mounting plates, in both standard and low-profile versions, and both will reduce excessive wear on your winch cable. And if you're required to run a front license plate in your state, Smittybilt even has a plate holder that clips right to the fairlead. Run a synthetic rope instead of a cable? Smittybilt has hawse fairleads manufactured from solid billet aluminum and polished to a mirror finish.
A snatch block pulley will greatly increase the usefulness of your winch, and Smittybilt has a selection of capacities. A snatch block pulley can be used to redirect the angle of the pull, such as would be necessary if you're pulling at an angle to the winch and you want to make sure the winch cable spools onto the drum evenly. It can also be used to create a double line pull and effectively increase the capacity of your winch.
