SEIBON has a 6-month limited clear coat warranty, and they guarantee fitment for all US-modeled vehicles, unless they specifically indicate otherwise. SEIBON test fits all parts before they make them available for sale. But customers need to understand that no aftermarket body parts will fit exactly like OEM. It is normal and you are expected to do minor adjustments for a good fit. With that said, SEIBON is very confident that their products are among the best fitment in the aero-styling market. The warranty extends only to vehicles that have not had any bodywork done. As a precaution, test fit all parts before you cut/paint/drill the items.
Some parts may not be legal for street use in all states. It is the buyers responsibility to comply with applicable state laws. Buyer understands that due to strict U.S. Federal and State safety crash guidelines, SEIBON is not responsible or liable for any damages or possible injuries incurred upon possible accidents due to driver error, incorrect installations, bad judgment, or act of nature/God, Allah, Jehovah, etc. All products are intended for off-highway uses only, and should be used for their intended purposes only. SEIBON does not take responsibility over buyer installation, modification, and unusual stress of the products. The buyer assumes all responsibilities for determining the suitability of the products. SEIBON is not responsible for any damages incurred either directly or indirectly on the vehicles or operators/passengers within the vehicles.
FITMENT GUARANTEE
SEIBON will replace any hood, trunk or lip under the following conditions:
Gap between the hood and the fenders are more than 1/2" wide on each side
Hood levels more than 1/4" higher or lower than the fenders
Latch is 1/16" too long or too short than the stock latch, causing the hood not to latch
Please note that SEIBON does not suggest re-installing gas hood shocks/dampers/struts.
Gap between the Trunk and the rear fenders are more than 1/2" wide on each side
Trunk levels more than 1/4" higher or lower than the rear fenders
Please note that SEIBON does not suggest re-installing gas trunk shocks/dampers/struts.
Lips:
Length of the lip is 3/8" too long or too short than the stock bumper
APPEARANCE GUARANTEE
SEIBON will replace any carbon fiber component that exhibits heavy cloudiness under the clear coat (which is only visible under the Sun. SEIBON apologizes for not being able to inspect every product under natural sun light) or has a clear coat bubble larger than 3/8".
They will also replace any panel where the clear coat changes more than a full shade within 6 months. Slight fading and discoloration over time is natural. The warranty only covers more extreme cases.
To preserve carbon fiber hood finish, SEIBON recommends that the heat shield from the original hood be transferred to the carbon fiber panel, or that an aftermarket heat shield product be installed.
INSTALLATION
All products require professional installation. Buyer understands that some products may require modifications for correct fitment. Minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process. All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons. All carbon fiber products will not sustain any force or weight, for they could be cracked by such force or weight. SEIBON has made an effort to produce all its aftermarket products to fit the original factory vehicles as closely as possible. However, some occasional prepping may be necessary for an ideal fit. The buyer needs to perform these steps to his/her satisfaction before installation. If the buyer wishes to paint the products, he or she must pre-fit the parts to the vehicle before painting to ensure proper fit. There are absolutely no returns on painted products.
SHIPPING DAMAGE
Damages may still occur occasionally. Buyer must inspect the packaging and the products carefully upon receiving them, then accept the shipment and notate any damages and irregularities, such as crushed, torn, punctured, or broken parts on both the packaging and the product, on the freight bill or receipt at the drivers presence. Buyer must retain all cartons, packing materials, and damaged products for the carriers damage inspector to inspect. Do not refuse shipment or return it without approval, because the buyers right to make a damage claim may be denied. A signed receipt without any notation indemnified the carrier as well as SEIBON from any further damage claims. Discovery of damages after a clear delivery becomes the responsibility of the customer.
All damages must be notified to carrier and CARiD within 24 hours. In cases of damage with proper notation on receipt, the carrier will determine whether to pay for repair cost or replacement value of the damaged goods after damage inspection. Replacement value is the amount the buyer paid to CARiD and is not negotiable. All disputes about the settlement amount should be addressed with the carrier. SEIBON, under no circumstances, shall be liable for the damaged product or for subsequent settlement of the claim with the carrier.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
All products require professional installation. Minor adjustments might be necessary. These are normal body work and installation steps. Therefore it is NOT considered to be defective. In addition, most carbon fiber products are hand-crafted, and no two items will be identical. Small imperfections such as wavy weaves, small bubbles, and clear coat blemishes are inevitable. Pictures are required to demonstrate true defects on products prior to return.
