Warranty

Any Recon products that are found to be defective in either material or craftsmanship will be covered under warranty as stated below. Lighting products that require electrical 12-volt power during operation are covered for a period of 90 days following the original purchase date. If any Recon product proves to be defective within the warranty period, Recon will, at its discretion, either repair or replace it with the same or similar product at no cost to you.

This warranty does not cover any damage caused by improper installation, road hazard, accident, racing, misuse, alteration or normal wear and tear. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages unless otherwise provided by law. All applicable implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty, unless otherwise provided by law.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Super Duty Door Seals

I love them, easy to hook up i mean honestly i'm speechless and all i know to say between the door seal and the f350 emblems i love my truck so much more i think if i had the truck paid offvi wouldn't trade it in for the world that's how much of a difference that they made i love them i don't know if i would recommended them to any one, because id be afraid they would make their truck sharper than mine lol love them.

Awesome Product

Recon® 264121FDBK - Illuminated Black Front Door Sills with Superduty Logo

Easy install but I changed from the black standard screws to stainless and used speed nuts on the backside. These will never come loose. All my buddies want them. They are very noticeable and well made.

Really Cool Looking But...

Recon® 264321FDBK - Illuminated Black Front Door Sills with F-150 Logo

Installing is not as easy as they say, they make it look really simple in the YouTube videos, but don't let that fool you. I took mine to the Ford dealership here in town to have them installed and they to ran into problems. You can't mount the new sills over the existing door sills because the door rubs across them so that part of the sill needs to be cut off to make them fit. The other problem was getting them wired in. YouTube says its a red wire, instructions say a purple wire, well it's none of them. And last but least, after he got them wired in the dome lights quit working. He said since the dome lights run through the microprocessor it sensing to much power draw and shuts down the domes. The only solution we can come up with is to install its own power supply with a pressure switch. I'm sure by the time this is all done the insulation is going to cost me more than the sills which were a pretty penny themselves.
