Warranty

Any Recon products that are found to be defective in either material or craftsmanship will be covered under warranty as stated below. Lighting products that require electrical 12-volt power during operation are covered for a period of 90 days following the original purchase date. If any Recon product proves to be defective within the warranty period, Recon will, at its discretion, either repair or replace it with the same or similar product at no cost to you.

This warranty does not cover any damage caused by improper installation, road hazard, accident, racing, misuse, alteration or normal wear and tear. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages unless otherwise provided by law. All applicable implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty, unless otherwise provided by law.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Well, the light fits, but it was no plug and play. I had to cut the connections and make the joints myself. Also, I would not say it's super bright, if anything I would call it a little dim.

I was excited when it was delivered until I saw the quality of the box, SO cheap. Continued to pull the brake light out... a direct reflection of the packaging. Cheap. Waves in the plastic, backplate bowing out, not sealed, silicone oozing out of one of the rear holes that secures the light to the truck. I didn't even dare to install it and take on the risk after paying $191 after shipping. I immediately requested a return. CARiD was great with customer service. Recon... I won't be returning to try any of your products. This was pretty crappy quality for the price. Felt like a cheap $30 ebay purchase.

Awesome Looking Light

Quick and easy install. 10 minutes max. Great looking on my 2019 F150. Now I have to locate black mounting screws as the chrome factory screws look like a sore thumb.

Looks and performs as advertised. My summit white ‘17 Silverado LT has been taken up a notch with the addition of this chrome fiber optic LED. Together with the Recon Chrome LED tail lights I am extremely happy. I had my doubts when I decided to replace my stock/standard hardware, thinking my system would not accept the LED upgrade. As it turns out my doubts were unfounded. I can’t be happier. And as a bonus, the many compliments confirms to me I made the right move. Installation was a breeze, just as the instructions and video described.
