At high speeds a properly designed spoiler can provide downforce at the rear of a car, and in some cases it may even improve aerodynamics, depending on the car's shape. The distance between the rear edge of the roof and the back end of the car can be very steep, disrupting airflow and increasing drag. This distance can, in effect, be lengthened or the slope made gentler by a spoiler, which will prevent airflow separation and reduce drag. Of course, these effects usually can only be realized at speeds in excess of the legal limit. Warranty

Pure has a 3-year/36,000-mile Limited Warranty on its products to be free of manufacturer defects from the original date of purchase (p.o.p. required). Warranty coverage is provided for paint defects, peeling, and/or other paint adhesion and finish defects. Pure will match the O.E. color of the spoilers to the factory color specifications. Factory specifications allow for a degree of variance, both lighter and darker, due to many factors. Pure cannot be responsible for this variance. With vehicles 2 years and older, Pure cannot be responsible for color match due to fading. Sellers and manufacturers only obligations shall be to replace the product proven to be defective by Pure. Pure will not be liable or responsible for injury, loss or damages, direct or consequential, such as improper installation, misuse, abuse, scratches, chips or fading due to neglect, or unauthorized repairs. Pure will not be responsible for any damage caused to other parts by defective product for any other costs. Failure to follow any of the instructions provided will void warranty, expressed and implied.

Finally Got It!

Pure® - Custom Style Fiberglass Rear Spoiler

It took over a week to get to me. The finish paint is very good, perfect color match. Looks great installed. Now to the problems, there is no way to secure the spoiler with the screw hardware provided. Where the spoiler mounts rest on the deck lid, there are inner reinforcements under the trunk sheet metal. Using longer screws, you can drill through the skin and the reinforcement to secure the outer mounts. The inner mounts are directly over the full reinforcement. I drilled a larger relief hole through the reinforcement to allow access to the inner mounts and used two screws to secure. Before snugging up all the screws, I removed the mounting tape backing and secured the spoiler. I suppose that between two screws and tape, it would have been OK. But, I’m sure they engineered 4 screw mounts for a reason.

Subpar

Pure® - Custom Style Fiberglass Rear Spoiler

Came in great shape great time on delivery but I can’t help notice that the spoiler looks completely different. The end caps are larger and come down. Where as the one shipped is stout. Other than that it’s great quality for the price
