The Porsche 914 mid-engine roadster was a joint design project of Volkswagen and Porsche manufacturing groups, the sales lasted from 1969 to 1976. In the late 60s, Porsche was looking for a reliable successor of their entry-level 912. Therefore, the four-flat and six-flat variations of the 914 were introduced simultaneously for the U.S. automobile market. Seven years of production didn’t pass unnoticed: the model had undergone a series of improvements, both exterior and mechanical. For instance, painted or chrome bumpers were replaced with heavy rubber-covered units, which also made the vehicle more stable when driving at higher speeds.

Speaking about modifications, manufacturers used lower gear ratios to overcome the greater weight of six-cylinder engines. Naturally, weight means a lot for a car, especially for a racing one; considering this matter the car body is designed to cut weight. These autos are predominantly two-door two-seaters that use lightweight components for more agility and faster acceleration. In out selection you'll find products designed with racers in mind. Among other components, you'll find Porsche 914 body parts, including door panels, window motors, mirrors, etc. that come from well-known brands such as Sherman, SoftSeal, Nippon America, etc.
