Noticeable Gap Between Fog Light and Housing

I bought this product for my 2020 4Runner. To start, the e-PDF instructions are no help and only show you how the wiring works. I had to dig and dig on the web to find how previous purchasers did the install since they were not a flush fit. Upon further research, I discovered that a few people had the same issue being that the fog lights were not fitting into the stock sockets therefore some bending and trimming had to be done. I reached out to a couple of people from customer support who were kind but couldn't tell me more than "they do fit" and they'd reach out to the manufacturer for better instructions. In conclusion, you can purchase this product if you're comfortable with bending/trimming and still having an ill-fitting piece with a noticeable gap, or save your cash towards a different setup. I did not move forward with the install, replaced my stock housing, and requested a refund. Hope this helps.

Morimoto® LF011 - XB™ Projector LED Fog Lights

Wasn't sure if they'd fit a 21 since the customer service rep mentioned they did not. But they totally do. I just used a step up bit to cut mount tabs the same size as the OEM lamp to utilize the OE hardware. As far brightness goes, it's day and night compared the joke of a foglamp Subaru offers. Not sure what the last review was complaining about, but these are plenty bright. Just need to be aimed as they came directed a little low. So if you're on the fence just do it! Install took about 30 mins for both lamps and I only had to loosen the lower fender liner to access and replace.

Not Worth the Money They Cost

The light output is less than the stock fogs. The beam pattern is very bad, they do not deserve the name fog lights, light color is more white of course.

I bought them as soon as they appeared, more than a year ago. They are easily mounted. They look good, but they perform their function very, very poorly, there is practically no light from them. I don't recommend it.

No Shock and Awe

Morimoto® - XB™ Projector LED Fog Lights

A little disappointed in the brightness. My learning curve was a little shallow. It was a struggle to get the first light out. And then I put the terminals is backwards in the sockets. No instructions. I did test the terminals before I placed them in the sockets. A good pretest, since reversing the polarity will not allow the lights to illuminate. Now I need to adjust them. For this price level, I was expecting shock and awe.

Very clean white light compared with Lumen's brand. The only thing I don't understand why they made the bottom cut off? I know top cut off line if nice but why bottom too? The price that I paid I would expect they come with new fitting tab like Lumen does. Let's see how long they last

2009 Honda Fit Sport Compatibility

Morimoto® LF170 - XB™ Projector LED Fog Lights

This isn't a review of the light's quality, but its compatibility with the 2009 Honda Fit Sport OEM fog light assembly. There are two reviews for these lights. Doesn't work for 2011 Honda Fit Sport, but works for 2012 Honda Fit Sport, so 50/50 chance they will drop right into the 2009 Honda Fit Sport OEM fog light assembly. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. The mounting points are different and won't line up with the OEM assembly. Ended up exchanging this for H02592122 and H02593122 which FIT perfectly and should be able to just change out the light going forward! Hope this helps someone considering this fog light set for their 2009 Honda Fit Sport. Most likely, these won't work on 2009-2011 Honda Fit Sport models because the mounting points are different.

Morimoto® - XB™ Projector LED Fog Lights

These lights look nice on the truck from a distance. After installation and adjustments to get them pointed in the best direction, they look odd on the truck up close. You can see a gap at the bottom and towards the inside edge of the lamps. They also appear to be sunk into the bumper. I have a 2500 Power Wagon which sits a few inches taller than the standard 2500 so after adjustments, they may sit better in a standard height 2500. The light they provide is a truer white which is fine, but they do not offer more visibility than the stock ones.

The lights look and work really good. The installation was a lot easier with removing the tires to do the install. Everything lined up like it should have and the wiring matched up liked it was supposed to. Good quality and great lighting. Will definitely recommend the lights. The service was great. I did not receive the wire harnesses and through emails with the service help were able to get them sent out right away.
