Tie rod ends connect the steering gear to the steering knuckles and move the wheels and tires when the steering wheel is turned. They usually go bad due to normal wear and/or lack of lubrication, but tie rod ends can also fail from repeated driving over unimproved or pothole strewn roads. A worn tie-rod end can usually be detected during a front end inspection, but symptoms of a faulty tie rod end include noise, a loose steering feel, pulling to one side, and irregular tire wear.

Well Built Part

After receiving this part I found that it was beefier then my stock one and will last over the years and it has fixed the death wobble.

2011 Ram 2500 Steering Assembly

I really couldn't have been happier with it. The entire assembly looked better and beefier than the original. It probably took me about 3 hours to remove and install, but I'm real particular about making things perfect! After install I eyeballed the alignment the best I could and then took it up to Tire Kingdom for professional alignment. I would have to rate Moog products 5 stars every time. By the way, I'm just a regular garage tinkerer that wanted to let you know how great this product is. I have not been paid and didn't receive a discount for my Steering Assembly. I hope this helps someone make an informed decision.

Great Value

Such a great value, the parts where much more heavy-duty than i expected, all parts were nicely painted and assembled and where so much more quality than i expected, the parts were here in a couple of days, way too early than i expected.they went on the truck so easy, like putting on a pair of gloves, very easy installation, only took 15 minutes, so happy i ordered and bought from you. Tie Rod Upgrade

These are the toughest tie rods I've seen. Bolt right up to my 2001 Ram 1500 did not even have to adjust width.
