Replaced defective factory shocks. And these outperform them.

Jeep Wrangler JKU Monroe Reflex Shocks - Improved Ride
Monroe® - Reflex™ Shock Absorbers and Struts
Needed shocks for 2016 JKU Sport as the OE shocks were soft, barely any compression at 61000 miles. Debated on using JKU Rubicon take-offs. Pricewise, other reviews and lifetime warranty swayed to replace with Monroe Reflex. I bought the 911539 for the rear with 1" longer extended length for suspension droop. After 400 miles, definitely a firm, smooth, controlled ride on bumpy, pothole, boonie Missouri roads. Install in the rear was easy. The fronts required patients with a 5/8' wrench to remove top nut and 9/16" for the new nuts. Did a bit of cutting on the passenger side plastic to increase wrench access. The only thing I don't care to much for are the shock cover design, fake flexible shock boot look. I prefer smooth so they clean easier. Function overlooks. Otherwise, I'm quite satisfied.
