77 Series High-Flow Performance Aluminum Silver Cold Air Intake System (77-2583KS) by K&N®. The K&N high-flow performance air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on your vehicle are replaced by this K&N air intake system which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow.

The improved air flow allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than it would from the stock air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout your engine’s RPM range. The air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive chrome-like finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor and a couple of replacement silicone crank case vent hoses. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less. Some K&N 77 series air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

Excellent

It was very easy to install, nice sound under the hood. But still not seen difference with the gas, I think I'm using more gas with the air intake than without this well. I've to be checking all the time with this but looks like gas is going away faster than before... the performance is awesome.

2013 Ford Edge Cold Air Intake System

The instructions were too the tee, everything matched and everything fit perfect. No problems at all, so if u have a 2011-2013 Ford Edge, this product will fit perfect, and it only took me and my dad about 45 mins to install all hoses and mass air flow and nipples. Everything fit perfect and the car gas mileage went up 4.6 more miles a gallon and sound like a beast when I get on it. So, if you're looking for a cold air intake, this is the one you need. It's the K&N filter 77 series.

The plastic was just a lil used or scratched up not sure if for test purposes or something else but it all fit perfectly fine no problem start up gave it 3-5 minutes and drove to the gas station just fine sounds good works great.

Great But Needs Trimed

I drive 2019 ford flex 3.5l non turbo and love the product, makes pretty awesome noise but in the install the intake pipe going in the throttle body of the 3.5l non turbo is almost to long needs to be shorter going in the rubber air boot , the pipe reaches so close i measured it at 1/8 th of a inch from the metal from the throttle body but overall ive had KNN for years and seen the befor but still amzing product

We own a class c camper build around a Ford 2006 e450 6.8 Triton (10 cylinder). In our initial runs it struggled, significantly, with minor inclines. Installed this (no other changes made) and it was just enough to make those inclines unnoticeable. Anything beyond a hill the Triton will still roar, but just making it get over hills with ease made our cross country trip that much more enjoyable. Also, was very easy to install. Instructions were good and the build quality seems solid.
