The vehicle was offered with a soft, folding, or hard top, as well as with the tailgate and without it. The DJ-3B was built for the United States Postal Service in the amount of six prototypes. Initially, the production version should come with rear-wheel drive. It had a 4-cylinder Hurricane engine, which was to replace the DJ-3A one. It has been produced till 1965 and was subsequently replaced by the DJ-5A Dispatcher 100.
