This light weight thermal insulating tape reflects radiant heat away from wires, lines, cables, and more on your motorcycle. Cool Foil Tape is an excellent way to insulate components without disassembly, or use it as a means to finish off other forms of thermal insulation to prevent fraying. This foil tape is very economical compared to other forms of heat protective tape, cuts easily, and has a self-adhesive backing that sticks to any clean surface. This reflective heat shield tape withstands 1000-degrees Fahrenheit of continuous radiant heat and up to 400-degrees Fahrenheit direct contact. Installation Tips

Cuts easily with heavy scissors or utility knife
Cool Foil Tape is intended to be applied on the cold side of panel or component, i.e. it is not intended to direct contact with heat source
Degrease and clean surface any residual dirt, grease, or chemicals, use carburetor spray or other cleaner/degreaser.
We strongly recommend rubbing the surface with a pre-paint cleaner or isopropyl alcohol (or other non-residue cleaner) after cleaning and degreasing.
Carefully peel the adhesive backing off the HP Sticky Shield, it may be necessary to use a utility knife or razor blade to properly start peeling from one corner
Press the Cool Foil Tape firmly onto the intake manifold, hold while pressing down for 2 minutes.
If you are using Cool Foil Tape to seam or protect edges of Thermaflect Cloth or HP Heatshield Mat clean the top and side edges of the insulation with the pre-paint cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.
Trim tape to fit the shield
It is important to do one edge/seam at a time on the tape
Peel adhesive backing off tape, press and firmly hold in place for 2 minutes

Heatshield Products, Inc.’s merchandise is warranted for 90 days from date of purchase. If during this time period these products fail prematurely due to a manufacturing defect they will be replaced without charge.

Heatshield Products, Inc. is not responsible for any miss application and or misuse of products. This warranty is null and void if the products have been misused, misapplied or are not a correct application in accordance to the products advertised thermal parameters or if they have been damaged from malfunctioning other components of the vehicle or other damage caused by external factors.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE LABOR OR COVER THE COST OF ANY ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS AND LABOR TO REPLACE THESE COMPONENTS.

The foregoing states Heatshield Products, Inc.’s’ entire and exclusive liability for any claim, including claims arising out of a breach of any implied warranties, in connection with the sale of the thermal insulation materials hereunder, and shall in no event be liable for any special or consequential damages what so ever.
