GMC Vandura Parts

The GMC Vandura is one of a few truly legendary cars of the last century. This car appeared on the market in 1964, but the first generation of the vehicle did not get the warm reception it deserved, mostly due to its similarity with the Volkswagen models of the time. The second generation of the GMC Vandura came in 1967 and lasted for almost three years. The range of engines included 5.7 and 5 L 8-cylinder engines generating over 200 and 250 horsepower respectively. The third generation featured six- and eight-cylinder engines with the capacity ranging from 4.1 to 7.4 liters. The diesel variants of the model were powered by 6.2 and 6.5-liter V8 engines. In 1983, the Vandura was equipped with improved transmission and adjustable tilt steering block. The standard equipment package included an airbag for the driver's seat, ABS, and power brakes.
