GMC 300 Auto Glass

GMC 300 Auto Glass

A line of medium-duty trucks, the GMC 300 was manufactured by the General Motors Corporation between 1951 and 1959. This model was created for industrial use, being offered as a 1½ ton flatbed truck. It was powered with a 248-CID GMC I4 power plant paired with a 4-speed transmission. The GMC 300 was also produced as a fire truck equipped with a siren, lights and seating for 10 firemen, plus standing place for more people. In 1954 the model received a new grille, rectangular tail lights and parking lights, plus a new one-piece windshield was added instead of a two-piece one.
