Worked Great for Me

The product was a perfect fit, and at a price I most certainly appreciated on my 22 yr old car. They came nicely packaged. When I get ready to do the front I'll probably buy Gabriel for the front too.

Good Stock Replacement, Good Price.
Bought these to replace my Fiesta shocks that had 83K miles on them and were found to be leaking fluid. 0 instructions came with these, but after a quick YouTube search to see what we were up against, installing them was pretty simple. Hardest part was having dirt fall on you from under the wheel well. These feel a little stronger and more professional than the originals did. Time will tell how they hold up. No significant advantage over stock as far as performance, due to being in the rear of the vehicle and me not driving hard. On the plus, theyre not quite as rigid as the originals were when they were new.

Replaced all 4, truck rides so much better. Would have been an easier installation if the shocks would have been collapsed at the factory.

Gabriel Ultra Struts
Gabriel® G52061 - Ultra™ Premium Front Driver Side Twin-Tube Strut
Product appears brand new and well built. Install was straight forward. Afterward the ride was smoother and less harsh than the originals struts.

1999 Lincoln Navigator Shock Install
Gabriel® G64002 - Ultra™ Premium Rear Driver or Passenger Side Twin-Tube Shock Absorber
The shocks could have been packaged better. The original boxes were kind of beat up, maybe from shelf ware. The installation on the left side took me all day laying on my back dealing with rusty and worn bolts. The fact that the fuel tank was so close to the left shock didn't help any. maybe an air impact gun would have helped, My electric impact didn't seemed to do the job because of the rusty bolts. The right side went right in. So with all this said, I still save a lot of money by doing the install myself. It without a doubt improved the ride and also got rid of the knocking sound from worn lower shock bushings. One of the things I thought was kind of odd was that when I went to a Ford/Lincoln dealer to purchase new bolts, They told me they were no longer available, Obsolete! I ended up going to a local hardware store and found something that was close. So, That's my story.

The top had a combination of either a star hold or hex hold, 6mm. The struts worked just fine and went on with the help of spring compressors.
