Fuel Transfer Tanks

Having a ready supply of fuel in your pickup bed can be the difference between reaching your destination, and running out of fuel in the middle of nowhere, and keeping your equipment operating and making money, and downtime running it to the filling station. We can supply you with fuel transfer tanks specially designed for truck beds, in a range of capacities, and in shapes that will provide the most efficient use of the bed, as well as pumps to transfer the fuel to your truck or equipment. We also have auxiliary fuel tanks that can automatically transfer fuel to your truck’s stock fuel tank.

We offer tanks that are legal for the transport of gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, and other liquids. However, all tanks on offer are not designed for every type of fluid; e.g. only specific tanks are approved for use with gasoline. When choosing a fuel transfer tank or auxiliary fuel tank, make sure it matches your vehicle’s and/or equipment’s fuel requirements. On our digital shelves you’ll find fuel transfer tanks and auxiliary fuel tanks made of aluminum, steel, and polyethylene. All 3 materials have been widely used and proven in the construction of fuel tanks by vehicle manufacturers.

Our aluminum tanks are constructed with a heavy weight grade of aluminum, and typically have a diamond plate pattern exterior with bright or black finish, while our heavy gauge steel tanks have a powder coated finish in white or black. Polyethylene tanks are made using an exceptionally strong and thick high-density cross-linked polyethylene. All tanks feature internal baffles to add strength to the tank and to prevent fuel from sloshing and moving too quickly, which could upset balance and cause pressure to build within the tank. All metal tank seams are precision welded, and feature mounting tabs so the tank can be secured to the truck bed. Polyethylene tanks come with metal mounting tabs and hardware. All tanks feature drain plugs and vented caps, and some are available with locking caps.

Choose from an extensive selection of sizes and tank shapes. They come in capacities from 36 to 200 gallons, in square, rectangular, vertical, wedge, T-top, and L-shaped configurations. This wide range of capacities and tank dimensions allows you to choose the tank that best meets your refueling requirements, and fits in the available space you have in your pickup bed. L-shaped tanks are popular because a fuel transfer or auxiliary tank typically occupies the bed location that a truck owner might want to use for mounting of tool box. L-shaped tanks are specially designed for use with a crossover tool box, with the bottom of the L-shape fitting under most standard size boxes. We also offer combo tanks that come with a quality tool chest already bolted onto the tank.

Low profile tanks are designed to fit underneath a tonneau cover, while wedge tanks are ideal for providing the clearance needed for towing a 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer. We also have split tanks that allow you to carry two different types of liquid. To transfer fuel from the tank to your equipment or your truck’s main fuel tank, we offer both electric and manual fuel transfer pumps. The DC electric pumps come in several different gallons per minute pumping rates, and must be connected to your truck’s 12V electrical system. The manual pump is capable of delivering 10 gallons per 100 revolutions of the hand pump. We also have complete installation kits that include everything needed to connect an auxiliary tank to your truck’s main fuel tank.

We also offer a wide range of accessories to meet your fuel transfer needs including nozzles, hose, vent kits, vented caps and in-line fuel filter kits that use replaceable spin-on filter canisters. Install one of our flow meters and you can easily keep track of the amount of fuel being pumped. Designed for transfer pumps with a flow rate of 3-30 GPM, these electronic meters feature easy to read 3-digit LCD displays indicating to the 1/10th of a gallon, and can be used with gasoline, diesel fuel, or kerosene. Microorganisms can grow in diesel fuel systems, clogging filters and plugging injectors. Add our biocide to your diesel fuel transfer or auxiliary tank and you can keep the tank clean and ensure optimal diesel engine performance.
