The average driver doesn’t think too much about the fuel they put in their vehicle, beyond price per gallon and maybe the gasoline octane rating. But car and truck enthusiasts know that what comes out of the pump is seldom the formulation that’s exactly right for their engine or the way they use their vehicle. That’s why we offer a complete line of fuel additives, so you can get the performance you want along with the fuel system and engine protection you need.

Today’s gasoline is fine for ordinary modern vehicles driven on a daily basis, but for classic and performance cars it can be inadequate and even harmful. Most current gasoline blends contain up to 10% ethanol because it burns cleaner and helps reduce tailpipe emissions. But ethanol absorbs moisture, which can separate from the gasoline and cause corrosion in the fuel system, particularly in vehicles that are idle for parts of the year, like collector cars.

Carburetors are particularly susceptible to corrosion because the metals used in their construction were not designed to be used with modern gasoline/ethanol formulations. We offer additives that prevent fuel system corrosion and the buildup of gum and varnish, and keep fuel from breaking down so your vehicle starts easily when it comes out of storage. Many older classics and performance cars have high compression engines that require higher octane than is available at the pump. Our octane boosters will prevent engine damaging detonation and pre-ignition that can be caused by using low octane gasoline.

But even late model vehicles can benefit from a quality fuel additive. Some gasolines can leave harmful deposits on fuel injectors, intake valves, and the combustion chamber. Over time, these deposits can accumulate, reducing engine performance and increasing emissions. We offer fuel system cleaner that will remove these deposits, restoring performance and fuel economy and protecting your entire fuel system. All gasoline contains detergents, but you can’t rely on consistent formulations. Using a fuel system cleaner every 3000 miles will ensure peak engine performance and maximum fuel system protection.

Diesel engines have their own special fuel requirements. Diesel fuel lubricates critical fuel system components like injection pumps, but modern formulations may not have the lubricity required, especially for older engines. Diesel fuel systems are susceptible to problems caused by water in the fuel including poor performance, corrosion damage and clogging caused by sludge created by microbes, and diesel fuel can gel when the paraffin in the fuel solidifies at low temperatures. We offer diesel fuel additives to combat all of these problems as well as cetane boosters that can help diesel engines burn fuel more efficiently for increased power.
