Made by RealTruck, you’ll understand where its name comes from as soon as you see it. Once installed, the Swing Case swings nearly 180 degrees toward the tailgate, making it easy to access whatever you toss inside.
As for installation, it looks relatively straightforward and simple enough for most DIYers to tackle. Some drilling into the inside of the bed is required, so keep that in mind, but RealTruck says it should take no longer than an hour. After watching the install video myself, I have to agree that it looks fairly quick and easy. If you don’t feel comfortable drilling into the bed yourself, always play it safe and contact a professional.
Made from a polycarbonate composite material, the Swing Case is durable and can hold up to 75 pounds of tools and gear, making it a solid option for everyday use. The top case of this two-story unit is 29x8 inches, while the bottom section comes in at 15x8. It’s 15 inches deep in the rear of the bed, and the part of the box that goes over the wheel well still offers 8 inches of depth. At the back is a key-lockable rotary handle, ensuring all your stuff stays safe.
