The Stealth by Dodge was marketed between 1991 and 1996, being technically identical to its Japanese sibling, the Mitsubishi GTO. This Dodge was developed as a result of joint project between these two carmakers. The Dodge Stealth was available exclusively in a two-door body configuration, featuring a coupe or convertible style. The powertrain of the Stealth consisted of a 3.0 L V6 gasoline engine, which was available in a 12-valve SOHC, 24-valve naturally aspirated DOHC or more performance-oriented twin-turbo 24-valve DOHC option, mated to a four-, five- or six-speed gearbox. This lightweight and performance-oriented Dodge was developed to compete with the Nissan Skyline and the Honda NSX.
