The model was a badge engineered Mitsubishi Pajero available in a sole 3-door body style, though the original Pajero was offered in a 5-door body style as well. As for the powertrain of the Raider, it consisted of a 2.6L I4 power plant capable of 109 hp and geared to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. This SUV achieved some success on the market, however it was discontinued soon, after the 1989 model year. Besides, the Dodge Raider has no direct successor in the company's lineup.
