One of the most important elements to bear in mind when you're trying to keep your vehicle performing at its best is that you need to be aware of the choices you're making. And because Depo has a wide variety of lights, you have plenty of choices. When selecting your Depo lights from the Product Options list, you will be offered a choice of Good, Better, and Best. Which is right for you? Let's find out.
These lights are an excellent value for money. Buying one of these products, you get a high-quality replacement that is made from the same materials as the OE component and is identical to your stock unit in everything, from fit to function. All lights marked as Good are engineered to exacting specifications and manufactured to meet stringent Depo quality standards. The only thing that differs these lights from your OEM assembly is that they have not been certified or evaluated by a third party, but it doesn't mean you get low quality. The product is covered under the limited lifetime warranty, which means it's guaranteed to fit and maintain its appearance for as long you own your vehicle.
When you see a Depo product that is marked as Best, it means that it was approved by NSF International, an accredited certification body that tests products utilized for vehicle repair to ensure they maintain the integrity of the original collision management system. All the products that meet requirements of the Standard P377, which governs NSF's lighting certification program, are guaranteed by NSF to provide high quality of performance in terms of fit, form and function. The production facility’s quality systems are also certified. All these products are made to the highest standards and carry the best warranty in the industry: a limited lifetime warranty.
All these parts are CAPA-certified. They were submitted for review and inspection by an independent testing laboratory. CAPA certification for lighting products includes four procedures: vehicle dimensional inspections, testing to the FMVSS-108 standards, vehicle test fit, and final approval. The lights have been tested and inspected for fit and finish, performance, vibration and corrosion resistance, integrity, and material properties among other things. Once the manufacturer and part become CAPA-certified, they are subject to random inspections to make sure CAPA quality standards are maintained. These parts carry a limited lifetime warranty too.
