If you do not find yourself carrying 4 x 8 panels on top of your wheel wells, maximize that otherwise wasted space by mounting this box behind the passenger side hump. Aluminum construction ensures freedom from corrosion, and because Dee Zee believes a tool box built to last a long time should also continue to look good, textured diamond tread aluminum surfaces are finished with a protective layer of clear powder coat to prevent scratches, chips, and discolorations.
The Universal Wheel Well Brite Diamond-Tread Aluminum Tool Box is convenient to use. Instead of two separate folding hinges that can bind when lids are pulled quickly from one side, a long piano type hinge makes for fuss-free opening with no binding. And when the lid is shut, an effective gasket seals out moisture while it eliminate rattle and vibration noises from the lid.
