Not only do these caps protect the top surfaces of your bed from dents, scratches and the elements, their solid construction also serves to keep the bed caps free of damage as well.

Heavy gauge construction using the highest grade of aluminum ensures the Brite-Tread Side Bed Wrap Caps will continue to look good without tarnishing and remain free from corrosion as long as you own your vehicle. Since the Brite-Tread Side Bed Wrap Caps essentially create a hard shell over each area, they make a great resting surface for long items such as lumber that must be carried partially outside of the bed area. These bed caps are designed with holes to access stake pockets, but if you prefer bed caps without holes, we offer such a version also. Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects in materials, workmanship, and design under normal use, excluding damage resulting from road hazards such as gravel or other debris, product misuse, improper installation, impairments from accidents, product modifications, improper repairs, spills, vandalism, product neglect, or acts of God. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of new product(s) and is limited to the replacement of genuine Dee Zee products. Modification of any kind to Dee Zee products voids all warranty coverage. Warranty does not include electrical components, installation, cost of removal, labor, transportation costs, loss of use, inconvenience, or consequential damages.

Warranty Coverage – Component Parts

Operational items such as shocks, latches, keys, hinges, and wear items including, but not limited to, mud flaps, step pads, end caps, hardware, seals, etc. have a 1-Year Warranty. This warranty applies only to new products and is limited to the repair or replacement of genuine Dee Zee products. Warranty does not include electrical components, light bulb replacement, and cost of removal, installation, labor, transportation costs, and loss of use, inconvenience or consequential damages.

Warranty Coverage – Finish Protection

The finish of all Dee Zee products is covered for 1 year from the date of purchase. Dee Zee products have a high-quality finish that must be cared for and maintained like any other exposed finish on the vehicle. Protect the finish with non-abrasive automotive wax (e.g. Pure Carnauba) on a regular basis. Applying soaps, polishes, or waxes that contain an abrasive compound may scratch the finish and leave the exposed material susceptible to corrosion.

Warranty Submission Procedure

All warranty claims will be initiated at the place of purchase. The original purchaser will be required to present the original sales receipt with purchase date shown and provide photographs of the defect.

In the event the originally purchased product style is no longer available, Dee Zee will warranty the defective part with a current equivalent.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

These bed caps are beautiful and fit my 2001 Silverado perfectly. Installation instructions were specific and installation went seamlessly. These are extremely high quality and will certainly outlast any of the "less expensive" ones. I would certainly recommend this product.

Nice But Could Be Better

This is a decent product. Pretty darn thin though. One corner was bent while in transit but I was able to bend back and luckily it's not easily seen. CARiD was fantastic with with speedy shipping.
