It protects the inside of your tailgate panel from dents, scratches and the elements, and its solid construction also serves to keep it free from damage as well. Unlike products from competitors, an integrated lip is built in to the Full Tailgate Protector to wrap over the top of the tailgate panel, so that vulnerable edge is protected.
