This bracket is designed to mount a 5-way flat wiring connector (5 wire trailer wiring). With the included hardware, it can be mounted onto your trailer hitch with the CURT bracket #57204 or bolted onto the underside of your vehicle, at the rear. It comes with both self-tapping screws and nuts and bolts to offer a variety of mounting options. This wiring harness mounting bracket is constructed from steel for reliable strength, and it features a black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance.
5th wheel hitches are by far the most trouble-free, easiest to hook up, and sweetest-towing rig on the road. Because the hitch is centered over the rear axle instead of four to six feet behind the axle, crosswinds and pavement irregularities that affect the trailer don’t affect the pickup nearly as much. Much like receiver hitches, 5th wheel hitches use an industry-standard rail system so they can be moved to a different truck, or removed temporarily to use the bed for normal hauling.
