Warranty

All body kits and products sold by Carbon Creations are aftermarket products and are intended for off-road or show use only. The brand is not liable for any damages or injury as a result of the use of its products. Due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a “direct bolt-on.” Carbon Creations products may need prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other body work. Modifications may include removal of the reinforcement bars, bumpers, turn signals, and other safety equipment on the vehicle. Carbon Creations highly recommends that a professional “custom” shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Auto shops experienced in OEM installations may not be experienced in aftermarket fiberglass installations. All products sold by Carbon Creations are for off-road and show purposes only. Due to strict regulations by the Department of Transportation, some of these products are not approved for street/highway use. The brand does not recommend, and in fact discourages, these parts to be used on public streets and highways.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Carbon Creations warrants its branded products to be free from manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials when used for their intended purposes. This limited warranty shall extend for a period of one (1) year against fading and discoloration on the clear coat finish. This warranty is non-transferable. Any part of a Carbon Creations product that is covered by this warranty and that is found in reasonable judgment to be defective in materials or workmanship will be replaced in full at the request of the customer. For example, Carbon Creations will not replace a complete body kit if a single component is found to be defective. The following situations are not covered by warranty: Any Carbon Creations product that has been subject to misuse, neglect, accident; or that has been improperly installed. Any Carbon Creations product that has been modified or altered from its original manufactured state.

Hood and Trunk Fitment Guarantee

Carbon Creations stands behind the fitment of its products. Once your hood is installed, Carbon Creations will fully replace your hood if it does not fall within the following guidelines of the brand’s Fitment Guarantee. Hood does not clear a stock engine. Gaps between the hood and the fenders are more than 1/2″ wide on each side. Hood levels more than 3/8″ higher or lower than the fenders Latch is too long or too short compared to the stock latch, causing the hood not to latch after adjusting. Carbon Creations does not guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or have had body damages or customization. Hood pins are required.

Trunks

Gaps between the trunk and the rear fenders are more than 1/2″ wide on each side. Trunk levels more than 3/8″ higher or lower than the rear fenders. Carbon Creations does not guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or have had body damages or customization.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Spoiler Spoiler Not really.

Carbon Creations® - Stallion Style Carbon Fiber Rear Lip Spoiler

1.Product received undamaged. The outside edges of main spoiler were poorly finished and not carbon fiber, while these are hidden when deck lid is closed, that isn't a good quality control indicator - the ends are just badly finished, black fg resin, just as are the inside and outside edges of body mounted spoiler sides. Granted also there are winglet caps on either end to be mounted that will cover the exposed end surfaces, but there is no mounting hardware to afix them. Wouldn't take much effort to put out some QA/QC effort an this would be a decent product. As it is the caps are heavy, and just wrapping an ABS one might be lighter. 2. No installation hardware or instructions. Come on guys, really? I know I can google the product that this emulates and get an idea for hardware, or get a shop to install it - everyone signs a disclaimer - but you could at least list the recommended hardware. 3.Overall, close, but no cigar. Too bad, as the fiber is at least decently laid and coated. I will still put this on my vehicle, but only after a surefire install process and materials are IDd and located.
