Canoe Carriers & Kayak Racks

All canoe carriers and kayak carriers we sell feature sturdy, corrosion-proof construction and are designed to install easily without tools. Strategically designed pads are placed to cradle your watersport gear without scratching it or causing any undo stress that might cause warping or cracking. If you want the security of being able to lock your gear in place unattended, we offer racks with turnkey lock cylinders.

If you need to carry up to 4 kayaks or one kayak with additional items, we offer both the Thule® Hull-A-Port and Stacker space saver racks, each with specially shaped cradles that fold from horizontal to vertical in order to take up the least amount of roof space possible. 4-point adjustable pads and corrosion-resistant steel design delivers superior carrying performance and protection, and all straps needed to transport one kayak come with each carrier.

For smaller vehicles with less roof area, we offer Kayak racks with sliding rollers that extend beyond the back of the vehicle for better stability, balance and loading/unloading. Clamps will mount to any crossbars, round bars or factory racks. When needed, the sliding roller extends out beyond the back of the vehicle to support 50 percent of the kayak's weight up to 75 pounds. Two separate carriers can be fitted per vehicle holding kayaks up to 36 inches in width. Pivoting rubber saddles support the weight of the kayak, and can be adjusted for nearly any shape and size for secure transportation.

Most roof-mounted kayak and canoe carriers require two people to load or unload each one. If you're by yourself, the Hullavator provides lift assist for one-person operation. Two flexible arms mounted to the roof rack swing down along the side of the vehicle to allow the canoe to be mounted at that level. Then the Hullavator provides 40 pounds of lifting assistance to swing the canoe up and over where it locks into place on the roof rack assembly. 8 padded contact areas surround the kayak for maximum protection and secure holding, and all securing straps are included. Two Hullavator carriers can be fitted on each vehicle, and each one can support kayaks or canoes up to 34 inches wide with a maximum weight of 75 pounds. Corrosion-resistant construction ensures a longer product life.

For pickup trucks with a short bed that is not long enough to fit your kayak in, we offer "goal post" 2-inch hitch carriers that mount on a truck's rear hitch, designed for holding long and wide surf boards, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and sailboards. One end of your kayak or canoe affixes to the pickup cab roof, and the hitch-mounted telescoping mast extends the goal post mounting area upward to whatever height is needed to provide 58 inches of carrying width with security and ease. The steel load bar features a durable plastic coating, and two load straps to stabilize and hold your item.
