Turanza has the optimal tread design to reduce road noise and handle the pavement in wet and dry weather.

Bridgestone's roots date back to the establishment of Bridgestone Tire Co., Ltd. in 1931. Founder Shojiro Ishibashi was already a successful businessman, thanks to the creation of Jika-tabi (socks with rubber soles used as work shoes) and thriving rubber shoe trade. Passenger vehicles were growing more popular, and Ishibashi realized the potential in providing tires for this new mode of transportation, so he took revenue from his family business to start a tire company. Ishibashi used an English translation of his surname, stone bridge, to name his new venture. In the past two decades, Bridgestone® has taken a lot of steps to expand and diversify, including establishing new headquarters for their European and American operations, returning the Bridgestone brand to racing, and acquiring tire retreader Bandag, Inc. As Bridgestone approaches its 80th anniversary, the company remains committed to being a world leader in tire technology, developing the most advanced tires and rubber products and providing world class customer service.

Solid Grip Wet Or Dry
I was looking for a replacement tire for the all season tires on my car. I wanted a performance tire and I couldn't find my first choice in 19"s (Hankook, Nitto, Toyo, BFGoodrich). I am very pleased so far with the RE-11. Super quiet, smooth ride, and sticky both on dry and wet pavement. And I got to experience wet traction today under heavy acceleration merging into traffic and they did not falter. And since I'm using this size for the front wheels, the responsiveness under quick steering is phenomenal. One small gripe is that these tires were not directional. All they had was outside and inside designation leaving the tires looking asymmetrical in nature and not directional. Confusing, but so far, the driving experience is excellent and makes my 350Z an even bigger pleasure to drive.

They are very quiet
BRIDGESTONE® - POTENZA RE97 A/S
I have these tires. They are very quiet and produce 3mpg's, better that my Conti's. The only thing I care for is they hydro very easily in heavy rain. In Seattle this can be an issue.

I'm happy with the tires
BRIDGESTONE® - POTENZA RE050A
I have them on my Acura. I'm happy with the tires and the grip is exceptional in dry and wet. Though the sidewall is definitely softer than the Potenza A/S tires I had on previously. The ride is better though. I haven't driven in snow so I can't comment on that. I would definitely purchase them again.
