Good fit. Sharp unfinished edges. Had an extra embossment along the front of the hood (‘78 GMC), which was not OEM on my ‘76 C10.

Disappointed

Auto Metal Direct® - TriPlus™ Hood Panel

They stuck the bubbles wrap directly to the good with a powerful adhesive which I still cannot get off. It's ruined the whole hood and is very disappointing. You should know better than to stick something like that to and unfinished hood. Will not order anything from them in the future.

Hood Delivery

Auto Metal Direct® - TriPlus™ Hood Panel

This was my second hood delivery, the first hood had a pretty good dent on the top. This one appeared undamaged upon inspection other than some scraping on the nose section. Upon closer inspection there was a small ding that I needed to fill. There was also tape glue residue that was hard to remove. Hood seems to be quality OEM grade of medal.

Perfect Fit!

Auto Metal Direct® 300-3470-1 - Hood Panel

I had no problem mounting this hood up to my '70 El Camino to replace its old rusty one. It's strong, sturdy, and well-built with smooth pronounced lines. Bolted straight on and the original hood latch and hinges fit with no problems or modifications. The only issue I had was with the original stainless SS dome edge trim. It didn't fit very well and ended up being about 1/4" too short. Other than that, it's perfect!

Good Hood, a lot of Repair Work Needed.

Cheapest deal i could find on steel flat hood shipped. But the hood had a lot of dents, scratches, imperfections from being handled and shipped. Causes a lot more prep time on my end to get to finished product. I would have paid more to protect the product and saved my time! Even the main seem down the middle was dented in.
