Warranty

APG Grilles have a limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase required. This limited warranty does not include normal wear and tear and is void if product shows evidence of misuse, abuse, accident, collision, road hazard, improper installation and/or maintenance or modification.

This warranty is limited to the repair and /or replacement of the product only at the discretion of APG Grilles. Grease and dirty particles will corrode even the highest quality stainless steel given enough time. Most accessories require regular maintenance. For APG Grille products, they recommend normal cleaning using mild soap and water and use of a non-abrasive aluminum/stainless steel polish on a continual basis taking into consideration your climate and driving conditions. Never use steel wool or metal brushes to clean your grille, also avoid using abrasive cleaning agents to clean your grilles.

APG Tonneau Covers have a lifetime limited warranty on the frame: against defective materials or workmanship on all Aluminum rails, aluminum components, clamps, hinges, bows and hardware. 5-Year on the tarp: against defective materials or workmanship on the vinyl cover. These boards look great but pretty positive they will rust out and fall apart rather quickly. Someone hit my truck and ruined one of my running boards which look almost identical to these so I bought these as I couldn’t find my originals. So I removed the old running boards and went to install these and they felt light as a feather, so I picked up an old one and one of these new boards and these are literally 1/3rd the weight just cheap stamped junk and after shipping these were 300 my originals 250 and I guarantee these could’nt cost 50 bucks to make they’re that cheap!

The running boards were well packaged and came with an abundance of hardware in individual baggies to cover multiple methods of installation. Unfortunately, none of the baggies are labeled so you have to parse through it all and compare it to the parts list to identify what you need for your installation. While everything I needed was included some of the bolts were much longer than necessary and the main bolts provided for attachment to the truck came in 2 lengths neither of which where called for in the instructions. It all worked out but allow time to organize what you need before you start the install. The boards are nice a solid but I give it 3 stars due to the fitment. I have a 2020 Ram 2500 crew cab and while they fit without drilling, there is no adjustment forward or back because the front and rear taper on the boards butt up against the front and rear brackets. But what is worse is that they do not sit at an even height along the body. The front sits about 3/4" down from the body where the rear sits at a tight 1/4". The rear height looks much better as it hides the weld seam on the rocker panel. I like the width and how the black and chrome on the boards go with the black and chrome on the mirrors, and it certainly makes it easier to get in and out of the truck. However, I don't know that I would recommend them until APS can change the design of the brackets to allow for some adjustment forward and back and to even out the height.

I have no idea why these boards are listed as APG product when it is actually an APS iboard and there is no rubber step pad as advertised, but boards look like the picture, they're not made in the USA and I found the 50 dollars shipping charge from CARiD to be outrageous. Considering it took six days to arrive. With that being said the boards arrived in excellent condition and proved to be a very simple install I was concerned about the fitment of the boards being too far away or hanging to low from the rocker panel but to my surprise they fit nice and close to the rocker panel for a appealing clean look. The boards can be slid out word so you have more of a foot pad or can be slid in word. So you cannot see the mounting brackets very much at all and still have enough board to assist yourself in and out of the truck, I have a 2020 Ram 1500 quad cab granite crystal paint with black grill and bumpers Black door handles and black wheels, but all the badges like the 1500 Hemi on the hood the RAM logo on the grill and door bottoms and the Ram head on tail gate are all chrome looking so the polished aluminum on the side of the running boards gives it just a splash of chrome look to match and with the black painted tops. They look awesome, I found the boards to be sturdy and functional with proper maintenance should last awhile and save you a couple hundred bucks from the higher priced competitors.

2017 Tacoma Running Boards

These running boards are a perfect fit for my Tacoma. It took me only one hour to install them. No special tools were needed. These were a third the price I paid for my OEMs. I replaced my OEMs because the coating on them were peeling off like old paint on a 100 year old barn. I am very confident my new boards will last much longer. Very satisfied.

OEM Look!

APG® - 6" H Series Cab Length Running Boards

Directions seemed kind of vague but once you are under the truck it’s easy to decipher the directions. The driver’s side took 45 minutes, the passenger side took 20 minutes. Fairly easy to install but keep in mind you are installing 24 bolts while you are upside down on your back. Very solid, look great, I’m very pleased with them. The quality is super, all hardware was provided and they were surprisingly heavy. One reviewer mentioned that only 3 brackets per side, honestly, 4 brackets would be overkill. I’m 6 3 and 280, they easily support my weight.

Very Good Fit and Easy Installation

APG® IB03RAG1H - 6" H Series Cab Length Black Running Boards

I read reviews complaint there were only 3 brackets per side. I was having buyers remorse before they arrived. Today I received the total order and was very pleased to find 8 heavy brackets. It took longer getting the Chevy rubber plugs out of the bolt holes than any other part. Part of that issue was I had the truck undercoated by Ziebart. All in all. Very happy

Simple Installation with Beautiful Result

APG® - 6" H Series Cab Length Running Boards

Bought these for my 2021 Tundra. Excellent packing allowed for perfect product when delivered. I highly recommend CARiD as a seller. The product itself was easily installed. Every bolt, washer, nut, and hanger needed was delivered with the kit. The installation directions that came in the kit were spot on. Took about 45 minutes per side, and they are just a beautiful accessory on the truck. They are sound and strong. Go ahead and get these. You will not be disappointed.

Easy Install and Look Great

APG® - 6" H Series Cab Length Running Boards

A couple of YouTube videos were helpful, but about an hour for the passenger side, 30 minutes for the driver side. Only glitch was that the coupling bolts off the engine mount and seat belt bold are a bit long. This could be fixed by cutting the bolts, or just inserting more M12 flat washers under the locking washer (the latter is what I did). Plenty of options for spacing along the length and levelling. They look great!
