Universal PowerStep™ Black Powder Coat Extension Arm Kit (75130-01A) by AMP Research®, 4 Pieces. This kit comes with four extension pieces that install between the standard PowerStep retracting arms and the running boards to create a stepping surface that is 2 inches closer to the ground. Ideal for lifted trucks or passengers with difficulties climbing larger steps.

AMP Research Powerstep retractable running boards add luxury and convenience to your pickup truck or sport utility vehicle. But if you have passengers that will still have difficulty accessing the Powerstep running boards when they extend to their normal height, the PowerStep Extension Arm Kit gives you extra linkage pieces that position the running boards an additional 2 inches closer to the ground. No drilling is involved, and the extension pieces simply attach between the standard retracting arms and the running boards. Because the extension pieces are curved and shaped specifically for the PowerStep, running boards mounted to them will still fold up flush to the vehicle without any loss of ground clearance.

The Extension Arm Kit is great for trucks that have been raised with taller springs or lift kit spacers. Because no one will even see your running boards until a vehicle door is opened, "tough" will be a word that describes how your truck looks – not how it is to climb into. Your special lady will appreciate the ease with which she can enter your truck gracefully wearing a short summer dress, and any children that climb in and out will do so with much greater safety. The Extension Pieces match the load rating of your running boards, so the weight support capacity of 300 pounds per side is maintained. Incidental and consequential damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Some states or providence do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.

2018 TRD Pro 4Runner

AMP Research® 75155-01A - 6.25" PowerStep™ Black Running Boards

Wanted these even before I bought the 4Runner. I off-road the truck and wanted running boards that were out of the way when not in use. The TRD Pro is a bit higher than all the other models, and my wife and mother in law had difficulty getting in. These are the perfect choice. Installation instructions are very good. I used extra care routing the wiring down the firewall to ensure no heat related problems. Everything was where they said it would be. When routing the wires through the floor, I used an awl to poke small holes in the rubber plug, thus eliminating the need for sealant. The only thing I did differently was to mount the LED lights behind the rockers near the board hinges as my doors have puddle lights and this placement spreads the lighting, protects the lights better and eliminates drilling holes. The last modification was to fill the groove in the surface of the boards with black silicone sealant to keep that slot from filling with dirt. The AMP boards operate faster than the optional boards on the Limited model, which you can't buy from Toyota in the aftermarket. This is the best looking, most effective way to have running boards. On top of everything else, they come down further than any static board and of course are more out of the way when retracted. You can hardly notice them when up. I am extremely happy with my purchase, even thought they are very expensive. They are very well engineered and built. This from a thirty year auto technician.

Dodge 2500 Mega Cab 4x4 2007

AMP Research® 75118-01A - 6.25" PowerStep™ Cab Length Black Running Boards

I purchased these for my 07 Dodge 2500 mega cab. These steps are worth the money. They work great. Make it a lot easier to get in an out. Best part they tuck away and can't even see them on the truck. Installation was easy. Just takes time if you're doing them by yourself. I had them in in about 4 hours. Was just taking my time to not overlook anything. Follow the provided instructions and shouldn't have any problems. Everything is well made, and wiring was a breeze. Highly, highly recommend them to anyone if you have the money to invest in these steps. You won't be disappointed.
