WS6 Style Functional Cooling Hood (CCM93AHWS6FH) by Amerihood®. Functional ram air hood is a perfect replacement for the ordinary factory hood. Inspired by Pontiac Firebird WS6 performance package, functaionl dual hood scoop direct cold intake air to work with performance air intake system by major manufacturers such as AirRaid and K&N. Amerihood utilized factory hinges and striker for easier installation, smooth gel coat finish on top and underside for easy prep and shorten work time for that perfect finish. Installation typically requires sanding, trimming, and filling prior to painting, thus, professional installation is recommended.

All parts purchased by the customer must be post cured and pre-fitted to the vehicle to be inspected before painting, such paint work is the sole responsibility of the customer and person painting the part.

Amerihood warrants to the original purchaser that their products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (90) days from the date of purchase. Please keep the original packaging for at least (90) days.

This warranty does not include painting and Amerihood does not warrant for product damage caused by abuse, misuse, shipping, accident, normal wear, incorrect installation by a non-qualified individual, incorrect modification or adjustment, dirt, contaminants or corrosion. Minor scuffs or non-consequential surface blemishes may be present as a result of the post-curing, manufacturing, shipping and handling process cannot be considered as defective.

All warranty claims must be accompanied by a dated, legitimate proof of purchase from Amerihood or one of its authorized dealers. Warranty claims for Amerihood merchandise purchased from an Amerihood dealer or distributor must be submitted to that dealer or distributor in accordance to their policies and procedures. It will be up to Amerihood to replace, credit or repair said defective part.

In the event of a defect in material or workmanship, Amerihood shall not be responsible for (a) actual or alleged installation labor, transportation or other incidental charges; (b) actual or alleged consequential or other damages incurred by use of Amerihood products; (c) injury or any damages arising directly or indirectly from any defects in its goods, defective or otherwise. You have specific legal rights with this warranty and may also have special rights that vary from state to state.

Very pleased with my new hood. Fully functional vented air scoop, hardware and locking installation guide included. Will be installing soon! Shipping was great, no damages at all, but I did have to wait a couple of months due to a backorder thats all. 93-97 Amerihood SS Ram Air Hood

Amerihood® CCM93AHSSFHW - SS Style Functional Cooling Fiberglass Hood (Unpainted)

The hood does not fit as it states. The factory hood latches there are no holes drilled in the hood to make the factory hinges and hood struts fit correctly so it needs to be drilled to make them fit. If you have an aftermarket air intake i.e. cold air induction system the hood will not close correctly. Ram air function and design is very good and of good quality. The hood is very durable and holds up stronger than similar manufacturer's. You will also need to install hood pins as a secondary latch system to be safe. It took over a month to receive the item as the item was held up on a container by customs in CA so if you order this item please be prepared to wait some time for the delivery to receive it.

Really I thought this was going to need same kind of work cause aftermarket never get it right. But honestly this needed no work at all. It was the perfect fit or a better word close enough cause there isn't anything that's perfect.They even got under the hood smooth. Highly recommend this hood.

Worked Nice

This hood is of good quality and worked nice on my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. Fixed it up for grandson’s birthday and Christmas, both in December. Had truck painted in a matt gun metal gray with Hemi orange accents.

Best Look

Amerihood® - HC Style Functional Ram Air Fiberglass Hood (Unpainted)

It gave my Chrysler 300 2014 base model 3.6 a whole different look. Just look at the photos before and after. It's the same car. I just changed the grill, the hood, and I blacked out the chromes.
