Good fitment and nice quality.

Looks good and fits well, but about the delivery is iffy though. You order your product. Then you watched to see if your product is being processed. Then, then when it's being delivered you have to call the delivery service and set up a scheduled time for delivery because you have to be there to inspect the product. I did so and on the date he was supposed to come in we schedule for a certain time. There was no phone call until after it was at the address. So we were not at home when they arrived when we set an appointment time to give us enough time to get there to inspect it. So give specific information to help you receive your product. But the products are awesome. Just get on top of that delivery process and everything will be alright. God bless and enjoy your products.

I purchased a hood for my mustang about a month ago and it looks get, I was a little concerned when there was a mix up in my order but the staff at CARiD fixed every thing for me and I am very happy with there service, I would recommend CARiD to a friend.

I've always wanted a 3inch cowl for my Mustang and I've gotta say I'm really happy I went with this one from Amerihood. I was a little skeptical at first because I've always had my eye on the one from Trufiber. Being about the same price and actually in stock I went with this one. Arrived at my house about a week later, box was in good condition and the hood seemed well packaged. Pulled the hood out and instantly got butterflies in my stomach from how awesome it looked and felt. Made me really confident and happy I chose this hood. Took to a reputable paint mechanic near me in New York and quoted me over the phone at $1000 for paint since my car is dark candy apple red metallic. Brought the hood to them and he inspected the hood in front of me. He noticed there was some slight pressure cracked in the hood which he said probably occurred during shipping and pointed it out to me. Looked like cracks in a egg shell. Not that big of a deal but something he needed to correct before install. Took them 4 days to paint and install the hood along with my squirt knozzle relocation kit and quick-lift hood hydraulics to replace the stock prop rod. Total cost was $1380. A little more than I wanted to spend but over all super happy with how it turned out and looks on the car. I would 100% recommend this hood to anyone looking for this style hood. Final product is certainly aggressive and turns a lot of heads when I'm driving.

Hello, sorry but Im still fitting the hood and then is going into the body shop as I'm writing this. The hood was shipped with very little damage which was nice, and it looked great! One thought came to mine, and that was the wire mess in the top scoops, and how to remove them if they turn into something not very good looking? Any ideas? Another one was the stock heat pad under the hood? Do you use one with the new hood, or is the hood ok with the heat in the summer months? Well, I guess we'll see! After all the hard work is done, it does look great. You will need a cold air intake as the stock one will rub.

I love my new SMS Amerihood it was easy to install. It was easy to put in the windshield wiper sprayers I wanted to make my Mustang V6 look like a V8 and I have truly achieved it by putting this hood on it makes all the V8 Mustang drivers look twice when I go by them, so thank you again, CARiD.

Thanks for the Amerihood you guys sent me, i love it it has a feature that thought it was for looks but the intake port are functional, they aligned perfectly with my air intake and overall the installation was easy, only took me 20 minutes.

My dad has heard horror stories of fiber glass hoods. However, this hood is made fairly decently. When fitting it my dad is just going to have to drill out the holes a bit to sift the hood otherwise a great fit. Not much work involved besides the obvious. It’s a good make and a decent product at a great price.

Product took a while to ship, but when I received it I was pleased with the packaging of the hood. The hood did not one single scratch or dent on it. Will continue to order from CARiD.
