A rather popular mid-size SUV, the 1998 Ford Explorer has quite a lot to offer including good maneuverability, high power, and comfortable ride. Featuring a strong construction, it's rather safe, however, this factor also depends on the condition of other components, and tires are some of them. These parts are responsible for creating a contact spot with the ground, and their tread provides a good grip on the dry and wet road. Bald tires work in a different way. Creating an illusion of a safe drive, they can easily let you down on a slippery road or during emergency braking. The sooner you have them replaced, the safer you will feel behind the wheel.

There are different kinds of rubber you may need for replacement. all-season tires are known to be most versatile, as they are able to work on wet and dry pavement at different temperatures. They can even handle light snow, but experts still recommend to switch to winter tires when the snow covers the ground. They feature large tread blocks ensuring a sufficient grip on snow. Whichever kind of rubber you are looking for, we have you covered, as our collection of 1998 Ford Explorer tires includes the aforementioned types and more.

I have had these tires for about a month and am very pleased with their performance on both dry and wet roads. No hydroplaning even in heavy rain! Hope they are as long-lasting as people say.
