This product comes with instructions and the wire tap clamp needed to wire directly into your running lights or break lights. Accessories are simply add-on features.
12 Volt Plug: This item gives you the ability to simply plug the product into your cigarette lighter port.
9 Volt Battery Pack: As simple as it sounds, on/off switch built in. Small and can be hidden out of sight.
Dimmer Control Module with Key-fob Remote: You will be able to turn the unit on and off with remote control and control the intensity of the lighting as well.
Extreme Lighting Kit: (Under Color Selection) The extreme light kit comes with a remote control which will give you the ability to set the product on any given color. It also has an on/off switch built in. The module features several different "light show" options as well including fading, blinking, etc through multiple colors. This option requires a minimum of 12 volts for power, so it can be hardwired or used in combination with the 12 volt plug.

WindRestrictor® is owned by King Penn Industries, Inc. of Dallas Texas. The brand and products were created by Robert King Pennington in 2006 when he wanted to reduce wind turbulence inside his convertible while driving with the top down. He was not happy with the less than quality options available to him on the market at the time. Robert designed, tested and brought to market a fascinating product that would later take the market by storm. In 2007 Robert passed away at 27 years old and his loving family took on the responsibility of carrying out his dreams of being a successful business owner who valued his customers above all else.

Warranty

Lifetime Warranty (Wind Deflectors)

WindRestrictor's wind deflectors are guaranteed to never fade or peel over time. WindRestrictor also guarantees its products against cracking (v1 kappa excluded).
WindRestrictor does not warranty the use of unapproved cleaners. These products will cause “crazing” of the glass which cannot be repaired. Be sure to never let your detailer wipe down the product unless you have given them the appropriate cleaner which was included with your order.
Contributory negligence of the customer will be assigned proportionally.
Liability for malicious intent, guarantee, guile, and for personal injury, as well as statutory product liability is not affected in the case of negligence.
WindRestrictor does not warrant against over-tightening of installation screws that cause fractures or against damage caused by abuse. WindRestrictor shall not be obligated to offer replacement or compensation if damage occurs due to customer negligence, over tightening at installation, scratches or gouges caused by the customer.

Slight Imperfections

WindRestrictor is not responsible for very slight imperfections that one may find in or on the surface of Windrestrictor brand products. Although the visibility of these imperfections from the human eye are a rare occurrence, blended PMMA products have prevalent characteristics such as very slight discolorations, blurs, bubbles and hairline scratches that may be present. These slight imperfections are inherent qualities that meet or exceed the standard specifications from the manufacturing plant.

Limited Lifetime Warranty (LEDs / Illumination Kits / Wiring Accessories)
All LEDs for WindRestrictor’s wind deflectors include a lifetime warranty.
Door sill illumination and wiring accessories include a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.
Do not remove the door sill until you have contacted WindRestrictor for proper troubleshooting tips. If WindRestrictor is unable to resolve the issue, WindRestrictor is not responsible for damage to the sill during removal.
If the product falls outside the 1-year warranty period, WindRestrictor will repair the item.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More

Love my Running Pony!

WindRestrictor® MustV1 WR-clear-2-Whi - White Wind Deflector with Running Pony 3D Shaded Logo

I was originally looking at purchasing the convertible "boot" for driving with the top down, but it lacked the "cool" factor, and it was almost twice the cost of this very cool but classy wind deflector! The item arrived extremely well-packaged for shipping, and was super-easy to install as described. It does function as described, in that we can hear each other talk or hear music as we want, and keeps the wind from tunneling into the folds of the top when its down. I love the look of it every time I look into my rear-view mirror! We are not do-it-yourself-ers, especially with anything electrical, so we had our mechanic wire up the lighting. Thank goodness we did, as he found it a little challenging too.The wire was too short, and it took longer than the time described in the instructions. I guess thats the only negative, but it's done and the lighting looks amazing!
