Westin® Running Boards Reviews

After deciding I should put running boards on my truck, now I needed to find the right ones. I am so glad I decided on these stainless steel ones from Westin. Everything is at least 5 star! 1. Packed so well to make the trip without damage. Arrived in perfect condition. 2. Detailed instructions written by someone whose first language is English (certainly no offense to foreign languages but, details can get lost in translation). All instructions and pictures were specific to my vehicle. 3. Just to pick up the brackets and bars I could tell they were made very well. 4. Everything lined up perfectly and I was done in no time. 5. USA made, imagine that! Thanks to Westin for making a terrific product and to CARiD for facilitating my purchase.

I bought a used 2012 F-250 super duty, and the step up to get in the cab was a bit much for both my wife and I. These step bars were just right. I had to do a bit of prep on the holes, as they had been plugged/welded up by a previous owner, but once I got things squared away, the installation was straightforward and the fit was excellent. So far very pleased.

They are very sturdy. I bought black and I live in a gravel area and you can see the shoe prints. It took a friend right at 3 hours and 45 minutes to install. I really like them and am curious if they work well in rain and ice.

Very fast install once I took wire brush to get paint off studs. I think they look awesome on my blue Ram.

They were easy to install and really look good. Frank was great to deal with, he helped a lot, I am very pleased.

Just put them on my 2020 Toyota Tundra Platinum and they look awesome. It took about 1 hour to install them completely and their make is so much easier to get in and out of the truck.

Box arrived UPS no damage, had all parts in box. While trying to figure out placement of brackets, I noticed each bracket was stamped on one side with DF DC DR, for drivers side, front, center, & rear. Passenger side stamped PF PC PR. With the help of my floor jack under the center of RB's I got them mounted, good fit, look good, quality construction

I've always wanted running boards on my 99 Suburban. The lights on the running boards are just the cherry on top. My truck looks great. Thanks guys!

Product is as it was advertised.

I carved into an Oak Tree in my driveway with the right running board. Had my new Silverado Z71 within an inch of the tree. I could not believe it. Not a scratch or dent on the chrome. These things are heavy duty.

Had to wait over 4 months for the rock rails, were on back order. Worth the wait! Installation was easy. Heavy duty product, look good on my 2018 Ram 3/4T crew cab long box.

Very easy to put on straightforward if you look at instructions and notice that main brackets are marked for where they go. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish by myself. I really like the fact that these bars are a closed bar without plastic ends. They really look good on my truck.

Had a set on my GMC Canyon, they looked great so when I got my 2020 Ford Ranger headed for CARiD for another set!! So glad I did! They fit the truck perfectly and they have an edge on the back side of the steps that keeps dirt and such out and completes the made for me look!! Nothing but Westin for me!!

These are great running boards. They have an aggressive non skid surface. They look great on the 4-Runner. The first mounting brackets were too long for the application. This was fixed with a new shipment of brackets. Great look, product and easy install.

Bought these for my 2022 Silverado, it’s a little pricy but I think it’s worth it. They are real American made material and I have no doubt that they’ll last quite a while. They do look to hang a little lower than other styles, but I think it adds to the functionality of the boards. Other than that, these look fantastic and function great!

Great looking. I actually installed them by myself the first one took three hours the second one took about an hour and a half. I have not seen better looking rock sliders with steps out there.
