In fact, each pad has deep paved waterways to keep the step area dry, for non-skid footing. Every set of bars comes with a mount kit custom designed for the truck, which includes detailed instructions. No drilling is required for installation, and all fasteners exposed to the elements are zinc plated stainless steel, for long term durability. Westin backs the powder coated black step bars with a 3-year warranty, and the polished 304 stainless steel bars carry a limited lifetime warranty.
