Vanguard Off-Road Products in Powdercoat Black, Black, Aluminum, and Chrome finishes are covered by a 1-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. This warranty does not apply to any products that have been subjected to misuse, mishandling, misapplication, neglect (including but not limited to improper maintenance), improper installation, or alterations.

Vanguard Off-Road Products in Polished Chrome finish are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defect in material and workmanship from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. Looks Great but Issues with Installation

Vanguard Off-Road® VGUBG-1889-1387BK - 2.5" Optimus Series Black Sport Bar w/o Skid Plate

The end result is great but getting it installed not so much. First it arrived without any instructions at all in the box. I had to contact Vanguard myself and it took over a day for them to email me instruction which were only one page and extremely confusing. Secondly the instructions clearly show that you have to modify the stock plastic undercarriage skid plate on the vehicle. I had to cut it into three pieces with a big chunk missing on each side for the brackets to fit. The brackets shown in the instructions did not work for my vehicle, it is very confusing because the bar comes with 6 sets of brackets and you have to figure out which works for you. Finally with the help of my wife holding the bar in place we were able to figure out that it was the L bracket with a slight 45° angle that worked best. So after all the complications I finally got it installed. The pros are that it looks amazing, the shape compliments the mean look of the RAV4 and I’ve already gotten a ton of compliments. Very durable steel and well made. If you can look past the installation issues I’d recommend it to anyone. Let customers know it requires modifications to the stock undercarriage skid plate. Many people will not want to cut the bottoms of their brand new vehicle up.

The only thing I would say is the bracket where it mounts to the chasis doesn’t line up with both bolt brackets.
