Tough Country Bumpers & Accessories

Tough Country

Since its inception in 1998, Tough Country has been designing and manufacturing high-quality body armor and accessories that both provide reliable protection and add styling. The company's product line includes bumpers, grill guards, headache racks, lights, and steps for Dodge, Chevy, GMC, Toyota, and other rigs as well as UTVs. Tough Country is the only manufacturer on the market to utilize a 4-inch pipe in a wheel-to-wheel bumper for maximum protection. The continuously flowing pipe base is used in both front and rear bumper designs.

Tough Country bumpers have a rugged construction and industrial powder coat finish. These bumpers are frame mounted for added strength and install with no modifications needed. Most of the applications are engineered to retain the factory tow hooks. Tough Country running boards add side protection while providing a step for you to get in and out of your rig. They have a one-piece welded 12 gauge steel construction that uses a 2″ pipe frame. These running boards stretch from wheel to wheel and mount to your vehicle's frame. You won't need to modify your vehicle as these boards bolt on to existing factory mounting locations.

Tough Country headache racks are available in Heavy Duty and Louvered options. The Heavy Duty headache rack stands out with its 2″x4″ frame constriction, which is the biggest frame on the market. Louvered racks are built using a 1½” x 3″ tube frame. Both headache rack types feature a one-piece welded design without any bolts on rails. Whether you're venturing off-road, working on the ranch, or cruising down the city streets, Tough Country ensures your rig looks its best while being properly protected. You can explore new places with confidence knowing that your vehicle is outfitted with some of the safest, most functional, and greatest-looking body armor components out there, supplied by a Texas-based manufacturer.

As a whole the brush guard fit pretty good with some minor modifications. It took longer to take the top and bottom plastic shields and grille off and reinstall, than to install the brush guard. I was disappointed that the brush guard does not shield the lower radiator; seems like that would be important (made my own). Ken Decker.
