Spyder Headlights & Tail Lights

Spyder

Spyder Auto’s custom lights can make your vehicle look better and increase your safety. The artistic designers at Spyder create one-of-a-kind masterpieces using lights as their palettes, enabling your vehicle to have a distinctive presence on the roadway. These lights also provide improved illumination, allowing you to see better and make your vehicle more conspicuous, for safer driving, especially at night and during inclement weather.

Spyder lights feature projector beams, halo lights, LEDs, and fiber optics. The bulb in a projector light is placed in front of an elliptical-shaped reflector that reflects the light toward a focal point in front of the bulb, for a sharper, more focused beam of light with less scatter loss. Halos are light rings that surround the headlight. They’re illuminated by 2 bright LED bulbs, or they can be the CCFL type and filled with gas, like a neon sign.

The compact size of LEDs makes them easy to group together, and when assembled in this manner, they’re more luminous than incandescent bulbs. They can also be arranged in distinctive patterns, for an unmatched custom effect. LEDs are extremely durable, with an average lifespan of 50,000-75,000 hours. On their latest tail lights, Spyder pairs LEDs with fiber optic technology, which transforms their light into brilliant, eye-catching light bands.

Great looks and advanced features are worthless without quality, so Spyder tests the wiring in every light before shipment. Each light is sealed with high quality silicone to ensure no moisture can be trapped inside, and packed securely to make sure it arrives in perfect condition. Spyder lights are ISO 9000 and 9002 certified, signifying that they meet the highest standards for quality, and they’re approved by SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers).

Many lighting accessories may be enticing, but when you look at the fine print you see “for off road use only” or “for display and show use only”. Using such lights on public roads may subject you to receiving a ticket. You'll have such concerns with neither Spyder headlights nor Spyder tail lights as they are compliant with all U.S. DOT regulations and with FMVSS code 108. However, you should always check with state and local laws, as these may vary.
