SPAL Automotive is a global leader in building high-quality electric fans and blowers for all types of automotive and industrial equipment. The company was founded in Italy in 1959, originally specializing in plastic mould construction. Today it has an international presence with subsidiaries in 6 countries. For more than three decades, the company has been manufacturing centrifugal blowers, axial fans, and fan controller modules.

SPAL's facility in Correggio, Italy, covers a total area of over 700,000 square feet and employs more than 500 specialists, while housing the company’s engineering and manufacturing departments. When employed to their fullest, the company’s production lines can build more than 5 million SPAL fans and blowers every year. The company holds TS16949 and ISO 9001 certifications, which direct the system quality requirements for design, research, development, and production. SPAL’s vertical integration allows it to have quality control over every step of the manufacturing process, enabling it to use its own accreditation - the SPAL Quality Standard.
