The 5-door Saturn Vue, based on the GM Theta platform, featured exclusive European styling, a four-cylinder Ecotec I4 engine, and a five speed automatic gearbox. The next-generation vehicles also offered a 2.4 L 4-cylinder and 3.5 & 3.6 L V6. The Saturn Corporation produced Vue SUVs in GM's factory in Spring Hill, Tennessee. In 2004, the automaker released a high-performance Red Line model, equipped with a powerful 250 HP V6 engine, 18" alloy wheels, and sportier suspension. Green Line hybrids were introduced by General Motors in 2007. These environmentally-friendly SUVs were powered by a 2.4 L Ecotec engine, which generated 170 horsepower.
