Trying to eat with food sliding off the table or rolling out of bed in the middle of the night isn’t part of an enjoyable vacation, but that’s what could happen if you don’t level and stabilize your RV when it’s parked at a campground. And not only can an off-kilter RV be an unpleasant place to stay, it can even be detrimental to the operation of some equipment like the slide-out and RV-type absorption refrigerators. AN RV that’s not level can cause the slide-out mechanism to bind. RV refrigerators depend on gravity to allow the unhindered flow of liquid ammonia. If flow is disrupted, as can happen when the RV is not level, proper cooling can be inhibited, and the refrigerator can even become irreparably damaged. If you want to keep your RV on the level and enjoy comfortable camping and a fridge full of tasty food and drink, we have the gear to make it happen.

We have leveling blocks for under the tires, leveling systems, jacks to raise and lower the trailer so it can be connected to and disconnected from the tow vehicle, and a variety of jacks to level your camper and then stabilize it once it’s level. For raising and lowering the tongue on a standard trailer we have A-frame jacks that attach to the inside of the A-frame behind the coupler, side-mount and tongue jacks that bolt or weld onto the tongue, including jacks that swivel up out of the way, and time-saving drop leg jacks that also bolt or weld on. These jacks are available in a wide range of styles and capacities, and some feature power operation. Push button electric jacks provide effortless raising and lowering, and some models even come with LED lights, so you can see what you’re doing in the dark, and manual over-ride capability in case of power loss. Add a jack cover to protect your jack from the elements. For large 5th wheel and goose neck trailers we offer manual and power landing gear in a range of capacities for raising, leveling, and support.

RVs can be leveled using jacks or leveling blocks. You’ll find scissors jacks on our digital shelves that can extend to 30” and hold up to 6000 lbs. Each has a large base, so they work well on both hard and soft ground, however we can also supply you with jack pads if you need more stability. Leveling blocks are an easy to use alternative to jacks. We offer interlocking blocks that can be stacked to get just the right height, plus they can be configured to create easy on, easy off ramps as well as wheel chocks. They’re available in packs that contain multiple blocks and include a convenient storage bag. Blocks can also be used as stabilizers under jacks or to gain extra height. We also offer 5th wheel king pin and gooseneck ball tripod stabilizers and slide out supports to keep the slide out level and to prevent damage to the extension tubes.

Of course, to do any leveling you’ll have to see your RV’s position in relation to true horizontal and for that you’ll need levels. We offer a selection of spirit (bubble) levels, many with stick-on attachment. These can be mounted anywhere, but they’re particularly helpful when mounted in the driver’s line of sight when driving onto leveling blocks. We also offer a battery-operated electronic level that levels both axes simultaneously. The unit is placed on the floor in the center of the RV and when turned on, red flashing lights indicate the side that is low. When all lights are green, the RV is level. Whenever a motor home or trailer is parked the wheels should be chocked to prevent the rig from rolling. We carry conventional wheel chocks that wedge between the tire and the ground as well as tandem wheel chocks that install between the tires on tandem wheels. These grip the tires to prevent movement and some are lockable to prevent theft.

Some modern RVs are equipped with hydraulic leveling systems, but you don’t have to buy a new camper to experience the ultimate in leveling ease. We offer joystick-controlled leveling systems with your choice of kick-down or straight-acting jacks for Class A, B, and C RVs and computer-controlled leveling systems for those RVs as well as travel trailers. These systems feature strong, dependable hydraulic jacks with power or spring retraction, and bi-axis leveling, which deploys the jacks in pairs to minimize twist and damage to the coach structure. The indicator lights make leveling with the joystick easy, and once the camper is leveled you can extend the remaining jacks to provide stability. With computer-controlled leveling your camper is leveled with the touch of a button.

Jacks & Levelers Reviews

Could not believe the improvement. I installed the kit and, while not exactly "by the numbers", with a bit of common sense it worked very well. Excellent product and the high quality components were complete. Can't say enough good about the product and the service. And she liked it.
