I decided to wait some time before writing this review, to see how the wheels would hold up. I'm glad that I did. I purchased a set of four on June 20, 2020. They were installed onto my vehicle on August 12, 2020. Please set your eyes on the "Revolution Racing' emblem. It's the red 'double R' emblem at the center of the wheel.
About 6 or 7 months after I applied the wheels to my car, I started to notice a discreet fading of the red center emblem on two out of four wheels. Again, not obvious at the time, I continued to keep an eye on it. Fast forward to the current time, April 2021, those two emblems have completely faded from red to an almost orange-beige color. The other wheel emblems are also starting to fade. Please see the pictures I've attached to this review.
I called CariD. The representative understood my concern, got in contact with the manufacturer, and informed me that the emblem is essentially a sticker of some sort. This can explain the reason for its fading so swiftly. Honestly, had I known this beforehand, I would not have purchased them. I believed the emblem to be engraved and/or painted on the wheel somehow. The details of the emblem itself are not provided in the description online.
Since the wheels are still under their one-year warranty, the manufacturer did send me "one-time" replacement emblems, free of charge. I will need to now remove each wheel to replace the emblems. WHEN they fade again, the out-of-pocket fee on Revolution Racing's website will be 50 dollars per emblem. Wow!
I hope sharing my experience will help someone else's decision-making.
