Product Details
50 lb. Kephos Spray Cleaner by Prochem®. Low foam jet spray cleaner for ferrous metals. Kephos is a low foam, highly alkaline cleaner designed for heavy duty cleaning and for stripping coatings from ferrous metals. Kephos strips most paint finishes and is highly effective for removing oil deposits, burned-on carbonized grease and light rust. High detergency and superior penetrating action cuts through finishes and soils and lifts them from parts. Kephos retards scale formation while controlling water hardnessand redeposition of soil residues. Kephos is highly recommended for cleaning of engine blocks, heads and crankshafts.

Operating Data
- Equipment: Mild steel jet spray machines are suitable
- Concentration: Kephos is normally used at a rate of 3-8 ounces per gallon of water for cleaning and stripping operations.
- Temperature: Solutions of Kephos are operated between 180°F – 200°F.
- Usage: Cleaning and stripping of ferrous metals. DO NOT use Kephos on aluminum or other soft metals.
Safety Factors
Product contains Sodium Hydroxide. Follow precaution when handling. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact should occur, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention. See MSDS for additional safety information.
